He asked my father what he&#8217;d like to hear and Dad said &#8220;anything Irish.&#8221; He said he knew &#8220;Joe Murray&#8221; would have some Irish in him, took his guitar case off his back, and hit the ceiling fan with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He played us <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9iRRvjjHDkw\">The Wild Rover<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OFdn5YBrqOg\">When Irish Eyes are Smiling<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sZTsn0HnDO8\">Danny Boy <\/a>and something about St. Patrick&#8217;s Day in New York City and one more I can&#8217;t remember.
